What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Assistant position at Chen's Dental?
Looking for a dental assistant with some previous experience for a busy dental office . We use open dental software , familiarity with the software is a plus , however not mandatory. We are looking for someone to:
- Assist with all general dentistry procedures: fillings, crowns, extractions, endodontics, and cosmetic cases
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to OSHA and infection control standards
- Take digital X-rays and intraoral photos with accuracy and professionalism
- Chart and document procedures using practice management software
- Educate patients on treatment steps, aftercare, and oral hygiene
- Anticipate the dentist’s needs and ensure smooth chairside workflow
- Maintain inventory and order supplies when necessary
Have to be available on Mondays.
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
