IT Project Manager - Global PMO

The IT Project Manager will use their project management expertise to lead the project team and/or third-party vendor in the initiation, planning, execution and closure of IT project(s) while ensuring communication is thorough and risk is mitigated consistently.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Independently planning, monitoring, and reporting progress across assigned projects
• Document project goals, scope, stakeholders, success measures/criteria, etc.
• Create, maintain, and deliver critical project documentation (e.g., communication plans, risk register, issue log, status updates, budget, etc.)
• Conduct project reviews and create detailed reports for executive staff
• Manage project budgets and track burndown
• Manage use of resources across projects, including managing and working directly with external vendors, ensuring accountability for contractual deliverables
• Third party contract management; ensure contract deliverables are met.
• Act as collaborative partner with all stakeholders and PMO team members.
• Lead or participate in business process improvement and issue resolution activities
• Conduct project meetings on planned and agreed upon cadence.
• Provide accurate and timely project status reports that include project management KPIs.
• Adhere to and champion existing PMO methodologies (ex. project charter, requirement tracking, and UAT test results) and governance (ex. documentation of meeting minutes and cadence, change control and adherence to agreed upon communication plans)
• Lead customer/user acceptance testing and/or training, as necessary.
• Close projects, including managing the handover of project deliverables and holding project reviews/lessons learned, as appropriate.
  
  
  

Supplemental Responsibilities

• Assist with the documentation of necessary lifecycle evidence required to adhere to Internal Audit and/or IT SOX Requirements.
• Contribute to overall continuous improvement of PMO best practices

Knowledge & Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, negotiation, escalation, and influencing skills
• Several years of progressive experience performing as a senior level IT PM
• Root cause analysis and continuous improvement mindset
• Previous experience working with vendors and client-facing roles required
• Experienced with Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid project methodology application
• Ability to balance the competing demands for quality, scope, schedule, and cost
• Ability to manage global, large, and diverse teams
• Ability to document and analyze business and system processes
• Strong business and organizational acumen, leadership abilities, and sound judgment
• Working knowledge of enterprise software development lifecycles and best practices
• Self-management skills, effective presentation skills and strong analytical skills
• Proficiency in tools like Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, ServiceNow, SharePoint, and Power BI.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), DevOps pipelines, and enterprise architecture.
  
  
  

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5-7 years of IT Project Management experience required.

• Constantly using hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, and computer keyboards.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $100,000 - $105,000 USD per year.
