Chemours is seeking a n Environmental Intern to join our Minerals Enterprise team! This position will report directly to the En vironmental Manager .
Location: Starke, Florida and/or Jesup, Georgia
Hours: Full-time 40 hours a week
Term : June – August 2026, conforming to school schedule
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Working with experienced environmental and mining professionals on operations improvement projects.
Assisting mine and plant operations with identifying opportunities for environmental improvement, developing alternative solutions, and making recommendations.
Advancing Chemours’ safety culture.
Contributing to team meetings and participating in team activities.
T he following is required f or this role :
Enrollment at an accredited college or university pursuing an undergraduate degree in Environmental Science or comparable fields
Good capabilities with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
The following is preferred for this role :
Experience with environmental investigations in the field.
Capability with ArcGIS.
Familiarity with technical and regulatory aspects of hydrology, water quality, wetlands, protected species, air quality, or related environmental disciplines.
Strong interest in applying environmental practices to industrial operations
Participation in relevant activities, organizations, and projects beyond the classroom.
