What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Biller position at Chemisys Laboratory?
Chemisys is seeking a billing associate. Tasks will include but not limited to:
- Reviews/downloads insurance Explanation of Benefits and posts payments to billing system.
- Posts payments and ensures allowances, adjustments and write-offs are posted correctly.
- Reconcile electronic remittances (ERA) and EFT payments.
- Handle denials
- Performs tasks required to ensure the timely and accurate follow up of all assigned claims and documents billing.
- Addresses any discrepancies in charges, payments, adjustments and demographic information.
Job Details:
- On-Site in Fairlawn
- Full-Time
- Monday - Friday
- 9 am to 5 pm
This is NOT a remote position
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
