Position Overview
This is a high-impact, field-based role responsible for building strong referral networks, executing strategic marketing initiatives, and increasing patient admissions. The ideal candidate has experience in hospice or post-acute care and is passionate about connecting patients and families with compassionate, high-quality care services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic business development and marketing plans to drive admissions and census growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources, including hospitals, physicians, skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), case managers, and community organizations
- Conduct regular field visits, sales calls, presentations, and in-services to educate partners on hospice and home care services
- Identify and capitalize on market trends, growth opportunities, and referral patterns within the assigned territory
- Manage and grow patient census while maintaining quality and service excellence
- Track leads, referrals, and conversion metrics using CRM or lead management systems
- Collaborate with leadership on growth strategies and market expansion initiatives
- Assist in developing marketing materials and outreach efforts
- Partner with clinical and operations teams to ensure smooth referral-to-admission processes
- Represent Chemik Healthcare Services Inc professionally within the healthcare and local community
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of business development experience in home care, home health, or hospice within a local market
- Proven success in meeting or exceeding admission and census growth goals
- Strong understanding of referral sources, including hospitals, SNFs, physician offices, and community partners
- Experience developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies within a defined territory
- Excellent relationship-building and networking skills
- Ability to identify market trends and growth opportunities
- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/lead tracking systems
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a field-based environment
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Bilingual (preferred)
