Driver Class A with HazMat License (HOME MOST NIGHTS!)

Driver - Class A with HazMat License (Distribution Specialist)- UP TO 25% LONG-HAUL

We are a growing company that seeks to add the most talented people to our team. We are dedicated to providing Logistics & Procurement management to private companies, defense contractors and government agencies.

Candidate MUST be certified Class A Driver with a HazMat Endorsement and 2 years experience. Chemical Material handling skills a plus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Long-Distance and Local deliveries such as chemical related products, possible HazMat products, and industry related products using various sized delivery vehicles from tractor trailer to box trucks.
- Ability to lift more than 75 lbs.
- Experience using forklift.
- Receiving product and documentation in ERP system.
- Interfaces with customers directly. Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Keep daily DOT driver logs trip sheets.
-Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
-Records B/L and delivery information on daily delivery record.
-Inspects B/L forms and check quantities, item #, labels and shipping information.
-Listens to and passes along service complaints and compliments to the proper management.
-Places stock on shelves or racks.
-Collects or picks up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise with authorization.
-Select items on daily B/L’s and inspect documents for accuracy prior to loading on truck for delivery.
-Load and unload delivery truck.
-Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.
-Cleans inside and outside of truck. Notifies supervisor of any truck maintenance issues that need to be addressed.
-Keep daily DOT driver logs and trip sheets.
-Coordinates with VP of Operations, Supply Chain Manager, and EHSR Manager to ensure routine maintenance is performed on truck.

Must have the following:
- Certified Class A Driver with HazMat Endorsement
- 2 years Class A driving experience a plus
- Highly Motivated and Energetic
- Accuracy / Detail Oriented
- Ability to work effectively with a team.
-Friendly customer service attitude

Clear background check and drug test required as a condition of employment.
Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal, Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Warehouse located Casa Grande/Phoenix areas. (Mon thru Fri Schedule)
