Immediate availability for a full-time IT specialist at Calvary Industries, an established chemical formulator in Fairfield, Ohio.
The successful candidate will be a hard-working, collaborative person with strong technical experience in IT infrastructure, help desk execution, and network management.
Requirements:
This position requires excellent communication and customer service skills, teamwork, and attention to detail. This IT Specialist will provide technical support to all end users for a variety of technology issues across all of Calvary Industries’ plant locations as well as employees’ remote workstations. They will troubleshoot hardware and software issues associated with workstations, enterprise applications, servers, networks, and equipment. They will identify, research, and resolve technical challenges using established company procedures and industry best-practices.
High School diploma required. Some college, education, and/or experience in information technology or data science preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
· User Support & Helpdesk Operations
o Act as helpdesk for both office and remote PC users
o Answering employee questions regarding computer systems
o Resolving IT support requests from employees - software, hardware, networking, printers, security cameras
o Updating employees on the status of their service requests
o Training users on the correct use of software and hardware within the system
· User Onboarding & Setup
o Initializing accounts for new hires during the onboarding process
o Setup office and remote team members PCs according to defined standards
o Deploy new hardware to users
o Deploy new software to users
o Installing hardware and software
o Installing new software and hardware drivers and updating existing ones as needed
· System & Network Support
o Administer, support, and troubleshoot network issues for company LANs
o Support users in ERP operation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution
o Set up and support office printers of individual users
o Changing configurations, settings and permissions to fix computer issues
o Keeping systems operating efficiently by performing any necessary upgrades and repairs
· Diagnostics & Problem Solving
o Gathering and analyzing data to diagnose problems with computer systems
o Performing problem-solving tasks when alerted by a user or monitoring system
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
