Outside Sales Representative - Oregon

General Purpose

To plan and carry out all sales activities on assigned accounts, areas and markets. Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and managing quality of all services.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

·        generate and qualify leads

·        source and develop client referrals

·        prepare sales action plans and strategies

·        schedule sales activity

·        develop and maintain a customer database

·        make sales calls to prospective clients

·        introduce CSR (customer service rep) as part of your team

·        develop and make presentations of company products and services to potential clients

·        develop sales proposals

·        prepare and present sales contracts

·        close prospective accounts

·        maintain relationships with clients

·        conduct product and other related training (limited responsibility) using CSR

·        maintain sales activity records and prepare sales reports

·        respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person

·        ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships by communicating with the client and the customer service team

·        monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management

·        participate in sales events

·        monitor competitors, market conditions and product development

Education and Experience

·        high school degree

·        college degree or equivalent sales experience

·        knowledge of relevant computer applications

·        knowledge of principles and practices of sales

·        knowledge of customer service principles

·        knowledge of basic business principles

·        experience in making presentations

·        ability to achieve sales targets

Commission and reimbursements

·        commission schedule

• first fill 100% commission
• succeeding fills 75% commission (25% commission goes to CSR) when CSR is assigned to manage account

·        US Government mileage reimbursement rate for all sales activities (paid monthly)

·        Reimbursement for approved gratuities for prospects or clients
