Job Overview
We are looking for a hardworking and detail-oriented Chemical Bottler/Packager to join our team. This role is labor-intensive and requires individuals who are motivated, reliable, and capable of performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment. The Packager will be responsible for preparing and packaging chemical products for distribution to various industries, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, and package products: Work with precision to package products according to detailed specifications and customer requirements.
- Optimize packaging processes: Apply Lean manufacturing principles to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
- Ensure product quality: Handle materials carefully to meet high-quality standards and prevent contamination or damage.
- Operate machinery: Safely use equipment for machining or packaging tasks while maintaining proper setup and adjustments.
- Maintain organization: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe to ensure a productive work environment.
- Follow safety protocols: Adhere strictly to safety guidelines, including wearing PPE and complying with appropriate dress codes.
- Work in regulated environments: Follow warehouse procedures and regulatory requirements for packaging in controlled settings.
- Adhere to CGMP guidelines: Package products according to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) to meet industry compliance standards.
Skills and Qualifications
- Physical stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
- Relevant experience: Prior experience in packaging, manufacturing, or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Attention to detail: Accuracy in packaging tasks to ensure quality and compliance.
- Lean manufacturing knowledge: Familiarity with Lean principles is a plus.
- Materials handling proficiency: Understanding of techniques to safely and efficiently move and handle materials.
- Machinery familiarity: Experience with machining or packaging equipment is beneficial.
- Warehouse operations knowledge: Understanding of organizational and operational practices in warehouse environments.
- Regulatory knowledge: Awareness of CGMP standards and their application to packaging operations.
