The ideal candidate for this role is a motivated design professional with 8 years experience in:
Client Collaboration: Present technical design solutions directly to architecture and design firms and their fabricators.
Digital Fabrication Setup: Create, clean, and optimize vector files and toolpaths for CNC machining and precision laser cutting equipment.
Prototyping: Oversee the fabrication of physical mock-ups, collaborating directly with shop craftsmen to troubleshoot production challenges on the floor.
Estimating CAD and CNC project costs.
Product Development: Work with design and sales teams in design and development of premium interior metal materials, both in-house and vendor-sourced.

We are looking for a self-motivated design professional with an aptitude for making things. You have 8 years experience in architectural product design, or high-end millwork/metal fabrication. You’re strong on the computer (CAD, Adobe Creative Suite), and have practical design and fabrication skills, ideally with metal. You work well within a team and by yourself and you must be able to work in-person at our Easthampton, MA facility.
Education: BA, Architecture degree or architecture studies, or industrial design degree.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
