What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nude Art Model position at Chemeketa Community College?
This is a part-time hourly pool. Applications are collected for possible immediate, or future college vacancies. This type of employment is temporary and often sporadic. You may only be contacted if a review of your application results in the intent to pursue your candidacy.
All applications will be received and added to the pool; however, currently male- presenting model vacancies are full and female- presenting model vacancies need to be filled to provide a variety of body forms to student artists. The College defines “female-presenting” bodies as bodies with primary and secondary sex characteristics that are consistent with post-puberty bodies that were assigned female at birth.

Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary requirements are met.
Disrobing and Conduct: This role requires the model to be fully undressed for the duration of the instructional session. The College provides a dedicated private space for changing; however, models are responsible for providing their own robe or professional covering for transit between the changing area and the modeling platform. During the performance of these duties, students will maintain a consistent visual focus on the nude form for the purpose of artistic study. The College reserves the right to maintain a professional atmosphere conducive to learning; therefore, if a faculty member deems a model’s personal hygiene to be below acceptable standards, the model will be dismissed from the session.
