What are the responsibilities and job description for the Employee and Labor Relations Coordinator position at Chemeketa Community College?
The Employee & Labor Relations Coordinator provides specialized support in administering labor relations functions and handling highly confidential Human Resources operations. In this role, the Coordinator delivers consistent, accurate advice and consultation on employee relations matters by leveraging an extensive knowledge of personnel laws, regulations, policies, and practices. This role plays a critical part in collective bargaining preparation, grievance processing, and contract compliance. Key responsibilities include managing highly sensitive documentation, maintaining employee relations databases, coordinating logistics for negotiations, conducting research to support organizational labor strategies, supporting employee probationary and evaluation processes, and providing administrative support to ensure continuation of services and operations.
