Senior Scientist

Piper Companies is looking for a Senior Scientist, Cell Culture Media Specialist to join a groundbreaking biotechnology company located in Eden Prairie, MN.

Responsibilities of the Senior Scientist, Cell Culture Media Specialist include:

• Develop and optimize novel mammalian cell culture media formulations
• Lead experimental design and execution for media development projects
• Collaborate across teams to support bioengineered organ development
• Work with primary cells, organoids, or iPSC lines in a quality-controlled research environment
  
  

Qualifications for the Senior Scientist, Cell Culture Media Specialist include:

• 8 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree or 5 years with a PhD in cell/molecular biology, biomedical engineering, biomanufacturing, biomedical sciences, or physiology
• 2 years of industry experience in a quality-controlled research environment
• Extensive experience in mammalian cell culture media formulation
• Experience working with primary cells or stem cells
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with bioreactors and whole organ recellularization
• Experience culturing and analyzing primary kidney and liver cells
  
  

Compensation For Senior Scientist, Cell Culture Media Specialist Includes

• Rate Range: $121,000 - $135,000 , depending on experience
• Comprehensive Benefit Package: Medical/Dental/Vision, 401K, Sick Leave as Required by Law
