The ideal Research Technician candidate would have experience with fundamental cellular and molecular biology techniques, as well as experience working with research animals. - Small animal handling and in vivo studies.
- Laboratory organization and purchasing.
- Experiments related to cellular and molecular biology.
- Data collection, analysis, and maintenance of records.
- General laboratory maintenance.
- Research project assistance.
- High school diploma
- A bachelor's degree (e.g., B.S., B.A.) in Biology, Chemistry, Physiology, Biochemistry, or related fields. Experience related to handling laboratory equipment is preferred.
- Experience related to handling laboratory equipment.
- Experience with molecular biological techniques such as Electrophoresis, Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), etc., is preferred
- Experience working with basic science laboratory equipment and with laboratory research animals and cell culture is preferred.
- Strong work ethic and an interest in developing independent research projects are preferred.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
