A newly established research lab in the Department of Neurobiology is seeking a motivated individual to join the group. The lab studies the neural systems that support vocal communication through animal models and human speech. The successful candidate will perform a variety of laboratory procedures and experiments in non-human primates, support human studies, oversee supply management, operate, and properly maintain equipment. Experience with non-human primate research is preferred.

- Perform a variety of experimental procedures for non-human primates, such as surgical procedures and behavioral testing.
- Support animal care and husbandry, such as monitoring health and providing treatments.
- Assist with data analysis.
- Maintain and manage records and logs; ensure compliance with research protocols.
- Support daily lab operation, maintain inventory, and order supplies
- Coordinate and assist with human research studies at an off-site location.
