- Strategic Research Leadership
- Coordinate pursuit of interdisciplinary funding through targeted collaborative grants and management of the McIntire-Stennis program
- Work with OVPR grant proposal staff to target specific grant opportunities for faculty.
- Coordinate advancement of research with research program and facilities directors
- RUBE Lab Director
- Director of Research Forests
- Spatial Analysis Lab Director
- Spear St. Forest Ecosystems Lab Director
- Oversee opportunities for professional development pertaining to scholarship and identify pathways to support faculty scholarship
- Admin
- Liaison with Office of the Vice President for Research and UVM research institutes (e.g. Gund, Water, Agroecology, LCOM centers)
- Liaison to SPA 2.0, RBSC , IRB , legal, etc.
- Oversee facilities management with RSENR Facilities Manager
- Graduate Program
- Liaison with Graduate College
- Coordinate with Grad Program Directors ( RSENR NR Grad Program Coordinator and MLS / TLCS Program Coordinator)
- Oversee grad admissions, recruitment, retention
- Oversee scholarships and graduate funding opportunities
