Supports telemetry-based animal research studies for infectious disease modeling, therapeutic testing, and physiological monitoring.

Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Implant, maintain, and monitor telemetry devices.
- Collect physiological data from non-human primates and small animals.
- Ensure accurate logging and database entry of study data.
- Support animal welfare, health monitoring, and cage-side observations.
- Maintain telemetry equipment and troubleshoot as needed.
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Familiarity with GLP and AAALAC compliance.
- Skilled in surgical prep and recovery monitoring.
- Proficient in data collection software and lab instrumentation.
- Bachelor's degree in animal science, veterinary tech, or biology.
- Minimum 4 years in preclinical animal research and telemetry studies.
- Experience in animal handling, dosing, and telemetry.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance eligibility, with no access to classified information, is required.
- Enroll in the Personnel Reliability Program (PRP), if required.
- ACTIVE SECRET is preferred
- LAT or LATG certification preferred.
