What are the responsibilities and job description for the Agricultural Equipment Operator position at Chem Gro of Houghton, Inc.?
We need seasonal employees to assist with application of fertilizer and anhydrous ammonia to fields. Employee will need to fill and haul anhydrous ammonia nurse tanks. Apply fertilizer to the field with a self-propelled spreader. Apply chemicals to the field with a self-propelled sprayer. Employees will need to work in the shop at the main location to fix equipment and prepare it for busy seasons including cleaning vehicles, tidying up the shop/workspace. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer. Workers returning for a consecutive season will be paid at the previous season’s rate if that rate exceeds the current published rate.
