Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Data Management Specialist will assist families in enrolling their children in Chelsea Public Schools successfully and connect to resources in the community.

Performs various tasks in support of PIC office operations and procedures;

Data entry of all new district enrollments;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel;

Work closely with all district schools in offering support with the student transition;

Perform reception duties, general filing and scheduling appointments

Translate district communications as needed;

Maintenance of student records, compiles statistical reports;

Maintains confidentiality;

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director/Assistant Director.
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum of high school diploma (college degree preferred)
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated competence with word processing, spreadsheets and data entry
- Ability to maintain office procedures and timeliness
- Good organizational skills and work habits
- Excellent interpersonal skills in providing excellent customer service
- Ability to be self-directed
- Fluency in English and one other language (Portugese or Spanish strongly preferred)
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
Qualifications Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Bilingual Portugese
Salary: $50,000-$65,000
Terms: This will be a non-bargaining unit position and is eligible for benefits. 40 hours per week (includes ½ hour unpaid lunch). This is a year round position, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
