Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Executive Director to lead our memory care community in Aurora, Colorado. As Executive Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of our community, ensuring that residents receive exceptional care and service, and promoting a positive and supportive work environment for our team members.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate the operations and delivery of services across multiple departments, including resident services, environmental services, and sales and marketing
Supervise department heads, including instructing, assigning, and reviewing work, planning, maintaining standards, and promoting staff development and motivation
Develop and implement new programs to enhance the welfare of residents, including resident assessment and care planning, counseling, and responding to resident and family feedback
Oversee sales and marketing efforts, including move-in programs and move-outs of residents
Maintain accurate records, including resident status reports, community statistics, and financial records
Authorize purchases of supplies and equipment, review invoices, and ensure that buildings and grounds are properly maintained
Develop and implement strategic plans, monitor financial performance, and prepare and administer budgets and cash management
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as social work, hospital administration, theology, business, or public administration
At least five years of experience in a field of service related to service to people and/or administration, or at least two years experience as an assistant administrator in a retirement community, home for seniors, or skilled nursing community
Membership and active participation in professional and community service organizations is highly desirable
Must possess a valid state administrator certificate or equivalent, and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
