About the Opportunity:
Chelsea Piers Golf Club is seeking to hire a part-time Food Runner/Server to join our Water Hazard Team. Located in the Chelsea Piers Golf Club lobby on Pier 59, the Water Hazard Bar Lounge offers a variety of signature cocktails, draft beers, and seasonal small plates for everyone to enjoy.

As the Food Runner/Server you will be expected to:

• Consistently greet all clients
• Keep abreast of all pertinent information: specials, events, programming etc.
• Assist the Kitchen in prep work and cleaning
• Effectively answer/resolve client inquiries through active listening and offering alternative options where applicable
• Monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness
• Actively engage and build positive relationships with members 
• Update and monitor tables and stalls for cleanliness
• Assist with opening and closing tasks
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized workspace

About You:
You are friendly, professional, and punctual. You enjoy working in a fast-paced and all-hands-on deck team environment. You have:

• Superior front line customer service skills
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Willingness to take on other tasks
• Excellent oral communication skills
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds or more
• Ability to be on your feet for hours at a time
• Ability to work on weeknights, weekends, and holidays
