Responsibilities
- Maintain and oversee consistent and accurate inventory
- Engage in weekly meeting with the Food and Beverage Director: delivering reports of café programming, staffing, property maintenance, sales, and any additional information as requested.
- Actively assist in all employee recruitment, interviews, and onboarding.
- Create and enforce training documents, SOPs, side-work, and cleaning schedules.
- Hold staff accountable for standards, policies, and non-negotiables.
- Prepare weekly work schedules and preparing replacements.
- Identify and implement strategies to attract and retain customers.
- Operate and, if needed, troubleshoot Toast POS system
- Assist and provide feedback on all marketing programming for the Canteen.
- Be an expert in all aspects of the Canteen.
- Provide a top-notch customer service to ensure you meet or exceed clients’ expectations.
- Training, motivation and retention of Canteen staff
Qualifications
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 30 pounds
- Continuous standing and walking throughout work shift
- Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment which is typical of this position
- Training, motivation and retention of Canteen staff
- Food Handler’s license
Compensation:
- $20 per hour tips
