The Opportunity
Develop the Next Generation of Boys Competitive Gymnasts
Chelsea Piers Gymnastics is seeking a dedicated Boys Gymnastics Team Coach to support our competitive boys program. This role is ideal for a coach who is passionate about foundational skill development, progression, and creating a disciplined, motivating team environment.
You will play a key role in preparing athletes for competition while reinforcing strong fundamentals, work ethic, and confidence at a critical stage in their development.
Schedule: 20 - 25 hours per week, - weekdays from 3:30pm - 8:30pm one weekend daytime shift
Compensation: $25 - $30 per hour competition pay (additional opportunities for private lessons)
What You’ll Do
- Coach Boys Gymnastics Team athletes during practices and competitions
- Instruct recreational classes
- Lead structured, progressive training focused on strength, form, and fundamentals
- Prepare athletes for USAG competition requirements
- Foster discipline, confidence, and a positive team culture
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to athletes and families
- Ensure athlete safety and proper technique across all events
- Collaborate with Boys Team staff on athlete progression and program development

Who You Are
- Minimum of 2 years experience coaching gymnastics; boys team and/or competitive experience preferred
- Strong understanding of required gymnastics skills and progressions
- Passionate about athlete development and positive coaching
- Energetic, reliable, and professional
- Strong communicator with athletes, parents, and staff
- Committed to continuous learning and growth as a coach
Salary : $25 - $30
