We are seeking a technically grounded professional with a strong understanding of lighting and controls to bridge the gap between project management and field execution in the South Florida market. This role involves managing essential project deliverables while leading the successful, hands-on technical application of lighting and controls. You will act as a primary technical resource, ensuring that on-site installations translate perfectly from construction documents to fully operational systems.

- Field Leadership & Technical Oversight: Direct client electricians on the precise installation and wiring of lighting systems, ensuring all work aligns with project specifications and sequences of operation
- Expert Troubleshooting: Serve as the primary lead for diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues with fixtures and systems to ensure full operational functionality
- Project & Logistics Management: Coordinate on-site deliverables, including material check-in and inventory, while partnering with remote Project Managers to maintain strict adherence to the construction schedule
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the central point of contact between electrical contractors, general contractors, and developers to proactively address technical challenges and streamline field operations
- Documentation & Reporting: Conduct thorough reviews of project plans and provide real-time updates to offsite teams regarding site progress and material repair/replacement needs
- Communication and Customer Management: Manage multiple projects, clients and schedules simultaneously
- Technical Capabilities: Skilled in interpreting construction drawings, specifications, architectural sketches and take-offs.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in a related technical or electrical field is required
- Education: Highschool diploma or GED required, Technical School certification or 5 years electrical contracting experience preferred, Bachelor’s degree a plus but not required
- Technical Proficiency: Basic electrical knowledge is required with lighting and controls knowledge a plus
- Language Skills: Spanish speaking is a plus
- Construction Knowledge: Experience in commercial or residential construction is a significant plus
- Software Tools: Proficiency in MS Office Suite and the ability to learn industry software such as Smartsheet, Bluebeam, and Acumatica
- Soft Skills: Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of improvising creative solutions to solve field issues
- Communication: Strong communication skills a must
- This role requires frequent travel to project sites across South Florida, including the Miami and Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach areas, to ensure projects are executed successfully.
