Job Description
We are seeking a Senior NetSuite Developer who is passionate about using technology to address interesting and challenging business needs. As one of North America’s leading small kitchen appliances brand, Chefman deals with complex operational workflows to get our Chefman and CHEF iQ products into our customer’s home. We’re talking about our home-grown Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Oodle – used for order management, inventory management, supply chain management – seamlessly integrated with warehouse management systems (WMS) and a financial cloud management system such as NetSuite to provide a complete business solution.
A successful candidate in this role will have excellent critical and analytical skills, be highly organized, have a strong technical background, and have extensive NetSuite experience with the ability to turn business requirements into fully robust and functional software.
This role will be based out of the Chefman office located in Mahwah, NJ. Salary is commensurate with candidate’s experience and successes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Oodle, Finance, Logistics, and Sales team to review requirements, design, configure and deploy new services
- Extract, transform, and migrate data from Chefman’s legacy business systems into NetSuite
- Design and implement NetSuite customizations while applying NetSuite Developer best practices and using SuiteScripts
- Design and implement NetSuite workflows to automate various tasks by leveraging SuiteFlow
- Use NetSuite SuiteTalk (REST and SOAP) APIs to allow integration with third-party systems
- Document, test, and maintain all NetSuite integrations, from use cases and classes diagrams to flow charts and others
- Meet recurringly with various stakeholders to ensure business needs are constantly being met
Minimum Qualifications
- 4 years of experience with NetSuite development, implementation, integration, debugging, and testing
- 4 years of experience with JavaScript
- 3 years of general programming experience
- Proficient in XML, JSON, REST, SOAP
- Experience with .NET and C#
- Experience customizing NetSuite fields, forms, record types, workflows, search, reports, and dashboards
- Experience creating custom roles and permissions in NetSuite
- Familiarity with basic finance principles and practices
- Experience with SQL databases
- Experience with project management software such as Jira.
- Experience with cloud providers like Google Cloud or Amazon Web Services
- Experience with version control systems such as GIT
- Proven experience of managing projects with multiple dependencies while keeping projects on schedule
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience building web applications as a full stack developer with technologies such as React, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Redux, PHP, Python, MySQL, NoSQL.
- Experience designing and implementing REST APIs using microservice architecture
