We are seeking an organized International Logistics Coordinator to help manage the movement of goods through ocean containers, customs clearance, drayage, and air freight. You’ll work closely with factories, carriers, and customs brokers to ensure shipments arrive on time and comply with regulations.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with factories to schedule and oversee loading and shipment of ocean containers.
• Manage customs clearance processes by working closely with customs brokers to ensure timely and compliant transfer of goods.
• Arrange drayage services and coordinate with carriers to facilitate smooth inland transportation.
• Select appropriate shipping methods (ocean and air freight) and assign carriers based on cost, timing, and reliability.
• Prepare and review all necessary import documentation to support compliance and accurate record-keeping.
• Compile, verify, and organize shipment data for entry into company systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve shipment issues and streamline supply chain operations.
• Support additional supply chain projects and special tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Proven experience managing ocean container shipments, customs clearance, drayage, and air freight logistics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is essential.
• Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills with strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities to address shipping and logistics challenges proactively.
