Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Hostess to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to manage guest flow efficiently. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, but we value enthusiasm and a customer-focused mindset above all. The Host/Host will play a vital role in creating memorable experiences for our guests and supporting smooth restaurant operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to optimize table turnover
- Manage reservations and waitlists using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Answer phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette and provide accurate information about the restaurant
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers regarding guest needs and seating arrangements
- Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and overall guest relations to ensure satisfaction
- Support team members during busy periods by helping with guest services as needed
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, guest relations, and service quality at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Host/Host or in food service/hospitality is preferred
- Strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Experience in guest services, serving, or hotel operations is advantageous
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and friendly demeanor
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on guest relations and customer service excellence
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
