Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable, high-energy Line Cook to join our fast-paced brunch kitchen. This role is responsible for preparing and executing menu items with consistency, speed, and attention to detail during high-volume morning and early afternoon service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook brunch menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Execute egg cookery, breakfast meats, batters, sauces, and brunch specialties with precision
- Maintain station organization, cleanliness, and proper food storage
- Ensure all food is prepared to quality and safety standards
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen team during service
- Assist with prep work, inventory, and restocking
- Follow all health department and food safety guidelines
- Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude during high-volume shifts
Qualifications
- 3 year of line cook experience preferred (brunch or breakfast experience a plus)
- Strong understanding of basic cooking techniques and knife skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Comfortable working in a hot kitchen environment
