Duties
- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and readiness for service
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, or portioning items under supervision
- Support catering and banquet setups by organizing servingware, utensils, and ingredients for events
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, and ensuring compliance with health standards
- Help with bussing tables in dining areas during busy service times to promote a clean and welcoming environment
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met at all times
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to support food service operations and ensure timely delivery of meals
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, catering, or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Familiarity with basic kitchen operations such as cleaning, food handling, or serving enhances your fit for this role
