Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
- Handle cashier duties accurately using POS systems such as Toast POS or Clover POS, processing payments swiftly and securely
- Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about menu options, reservations, or wait times
- Assist with guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and cashier area
- Support team members by coordinating with servers and kitchen staff to optimize guest flow and service efficiency
Skills
- Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a welcoming demeanor and positive attitude
- Proficiency in using POS systems such as Toast POS or Clover POS, Doordash, Uber Eats for processing transactions and entering orders.
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest relations
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving protocols, and hospitality standards
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail
