Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Host or Host to create a welcoming environment for our guests. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a positive first impression
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Answer phone calls with professional phone etiquette and assist with inquiries
- Coordinate with restaurant staff to ensure timely seating and service
- Handle guest requests and resolve issues promptly to maintain high guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area
- Assist with guest check-in and check-out processes in hotel or hospitality settings
- Provide information about menu items, specials, or hotel amenities as needed
- Support guest relations by fostering a welcoming atmosphere and addressing concerns professionally
Experience
- Prior experience as a host/host or in food service is preferred
- Experience in restaurant operations, hotel guest services, or hospitality is advantageous
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest relations expertise
- Background in serving or hospitality roles demonstrating excellent customer service skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience working with reservation management systems is beneficial

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
