We are looking for a qualified and responsible cashier to manage all transactions with our customers efficiently and accurately.
A good job candidate is a person who knows their way around a cash register and can easily operate it, together with a product scanner. Their main responsibilities include accepting payments and providing receipts, making sure all transactions run smoothly and every customer is satisfied with the service.
The cashier we would like to employ must be able to interact with our customers in a friendly manner, and provide assistance should any customer require it. Excellent communication skills are paramount to help us continue to delight our customers and provide them with an outstanding experience.
A qualified candidate must also be able to follow instructions and be a successful member of our team. Previous experience is an advantage, and solid math and multitasking skills are a must.

Responsibilities:
- Greet all customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Report to work as scheduled, on time, well-groomed, and dressed in proper uniform.
- Record customer orders into the POS System, ensuring each and every request is fully and accurately entered
- Repeat the order back to the customer before sending it to the kitchen
- Informing kitchen staff, through the POS System or verbal communication, of customer special requests/adjustments.
- Identify customer issues/complaints and report to the manager
- Perform returns and special transactions through the POS System
- Keep the "register station" stocked with all necessary items
- Clean and organize the & customer isle" when necessary
- Assist assigned employees with cleaning the customer patio area (if there is any)
- Take phone orders
- Notify management of all customer and POS System issues
- Consistently maintain a balanced drawer
- Have experience and knowledge working with credit card machines
- The restaurant cashier in this context is responsible for calculations involving a large amount of cash transactions, and in separating checks
- Perform other related duties as requested
