What are the responsibilities and job description for the Overnight Caregiver position at Cheery Moments Homecare Services, LLC?
Overview
We are actively recruiting female come-and-go (hourly) Caregivers to work overnight shifts on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 9 pm-5 am, at a client's private residence in Frankfort, IL, to assist with daily living activities, ambulation with a Rollator walker, fall prevention/stand-by assist, and companionship. Further details will be given upon request.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), which may include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and ambulation.
- Monitor clients’ health by observing vital signs, patient condition, and behavioral changes; report these findings to your supervisor.
- Maintain the cleanliness of clients’ living areas by performing light housekeeping and laundry.
- Provide medication reminders only.
- Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Fill out and submit the appropriate forms/records needed to keep track of your clients' care and progress.
- Provide updates with the supervisor regarding the client's care.
Requirements
- Valid form of identification (state ID/driver's license, passport, etc.)
- Experience within the field is preferred
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred; additional certifications such as HIPAA training or dementia/Alzheimer’s care are a plus
- Compassionate attitude combined with excellent communication skills to build trust and rapport with residents and team members

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
