CLASS A CDL DELIVERY DRIVER

Description: Drive a delivery truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds gross vehicle weight (GVW).

Summary: Delivers products to customers by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

• Services customers assigned to the route based on scheduled time-stopped ranking. Must adapt to any changes in work assignments and support organizational restructuring efforts.
• Follow accounts receivable guidelines set by the trade/customer when checking in orders (DSD, PO#, Military, Receipt, or Stamp) with the customer.
• Place the product in our designated area and/or move the pallet display directly to the floor.
• Pick up all shells/flats, returned pallets, and damaged or out-of-date products.
• Merchandise assigned stops as scheduled per management.
• Communicates issues, problems, or opportunities with the sales team and delivery team.
• Follow all company policies and procedures set forth by management.

Computer Skills: Knowledge of Encompass handheld database software is a plus. 

Certificates and Licenses: Valid Class A CDL driver’s license meeting acceptable criteria and valid DOT medical card.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance.

Background Requirements: Employee must pass a background check, motor vehicle driver check, and drug screen.

Salary : $58,000 - $60,000
