About the Role:
As a Shift Lead, you will oversee the operation of pouch-making equipment and ensure the production process runs smoothly. Your responsibilities include providing guidance to operators, monitoring their performance, and adjusting the machine as needed to maintain product quality.
Main Responsibilities:
- Operate pouch making machine efficiently
- Assist Senior Leads with setup activities
- Perform minor adjustments to machinery for optimal product quality
- Collaborate with Quality Testers to ensure compliance
- Support product changeovers and cover breaks/lunches as needed
- Report potential food safety, legality, quality, or food defense concerns to management
Requirements:
- Detailed-oriented individual with strong quality focus
- Organized and thorough approach to work
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Basic computer skills and mechanical aptitude required
- Prior experience in running and setting production machinery a plus
