What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Maintenance Technician position at Cheer Pack North America?
We are expanding our team and are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment running in a manufacturing environment—this is not a facilities, janitorial, or property management role. Working under the direction of senior maintenance staff, you will handle routine repairs, respond to equipment breakdowns, and carry out scheduled preventive maintenance across the plant. This is a developing role with room to grow your skills across mechanical and electrical systems and a path toward greater responsibility over time.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and repairs
- Complete product changeovers as needed
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Report major repair needs or parts shortages to the lead
- Complete maintenance paperwork
Qualifications:
- Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- General maintenance experience
- Knowledge of PLCs, cameras, electrical systems, and heat sealing is a plus
- Familiar with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
