Food and Beverage Supervisor

Job Overview
Cheeky Monkeys in Friendswood/Webster is looking for a Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our strong team. We are a family oriented indoor playground and party/event venue located in Friendswood/Webster. Our Ideal candidate is self-driven, timely, motivated, and holds a high standard for cleanliness and hygiene. The F&B Supervisor is a supervisory role and reports to the Store Manager. This role requires applicant to be 18 years and older.

Duties

• Lead the daily operations of Cheeky Monkeys Food and Beverage department, ensuring quality service and staff performance. Manage food orders and ensure prompt customer payments.
• Maintain inventory, cleanliness, food rotation, and menu consistency, especially during food preparation for our large events.
• Support the Store Manager with preparing supply and inventory orders.
• Implement cost-effective measures and set budgets for efficient operations.
• Train staff ensuring their ongoing competence and development
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and maintain updated permits.
• Oversee proper maintenance, cleaning, and operation of kitchen equipment (Fryers, pizza ovens, fridges etc).
• Practice good food saftey and maintain cleanliness in the Food and Beverage/ Cafe area.

Requirements

• High School diploma required
• Minimum 18 years old
• Energy, enthusiasm, and great customer service.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Experience with cash handling
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train staff effectively and foster a team-oriented atmosphere.
• Food Handlers certification
• Managers Food Handlers Certification which can be acquired after hiring.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
