Position Overview
The Production Manager will play a critical role in delivering high-quality exterior projects by leading our field crews, coordinating schedules, and ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to spec. This individual will oversee day-to-day production—from job handoff to final walkthrough—while maintaining clear communication with clients, the owner, and the office team throughout each project.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support, and supervise field crews on exterior repair projects (asphalt, concrete, siding, painting, fencing, decks, etc.)
- Review job scopes, plans, and proposals to ensure clarity before work begins
- Plan daily and weekly schedules to keep jobs on track and crews productive
- Coordinate labor, equipment, and material needs for each job
- Order project materials and ensure timely delivery to job sites
- Conduct job site walk-throughs to verify quality, safety, and adherence to scope
- Enforce safety standards and proper use of PPE on every site
- Troubleshoot issues in the field (scope questions, site conditions, change requests) and communicate clearly with the office/owner
- Communicate professionally with clients on site, providing updates and answering basic questions
- Track and report on job progress, productivity, and any delays or issues
- Ensure job sites are kept clean, organized, and left in good condition at the end of each day
- Represent the company in a way that reflects our values, culture, and commitment to quality
- Demonstrate strong personal values, integrity, and a genuine interest in the success of the team and company
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a foreman, superintendent, or production lead in construction or exterior/property services
- Strong understanding of exterior trades (asphalt, concrete, siding, painting, fencing, decks, or similar)
- Ability to read and interpret scopes of work, drawings, and specifications
- Proficient in English; Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred but not required. Must be willing to communicate via translation apps if not bilingual.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Self-motivated, professional, and able to work independently while leading a team

- Comfortable with basic tech tools (email, scheduling apps, project management/CRM, spreadsheets)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- This position does not require regular long-distance travel. However, reasonable travel may be necessary for training purposes. In such cases, all time and travel expenses will be paid for and/or reimbursed by the company.
