PURPOSE OF YOUR WORK
At Checkers & Rally’s we make a difference in people’s lives by serving our Franchisees, Teams, and Guests. As a member of the People team, you will be, “Enriching People’s Lives Through Their Crazy Good Experience” by maintaining and evolving the employee engagement strategy. The Employee Engagement Specialist will develop and deploy programs centered around employee feedback, recognition, and retention while supporting leaders to ensure all employees are held in the highest regard.
HOW YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE EVERY DAY
- Problem solve SAP SF system engagement encountered by restaurant General Managers, and District Managers
- Executive monthly RSC recognition programs
- Manage execution of pre-hire systems, troubleshooting to ensure an excellence employee experience
- Providing ad-hoc and standard reporting of employee information as requested
- Serving as a systems liaison with other departments and process stakeholders (e.g. Payroll)
- Processing HR actions (hires, terminations, pay & title changes, promotions, employment status, transfers, address changes, etc.) in HRIS
- Processing and responding timely to external inquiries for employee information
- Liaison with Unemployment Insurance vendor to timely process and distribute notices
- Manage employee exit documentation sent to each state
- Assisting with additional HR support duties such as new hire orientation, temporary hiring process, updating wage and hour posters, off-site storage maintenance
- Providing general clerical and office administrative support to the People Team including sorting mail
- Processing People Support invoices and supply orders
- Coordinate monthly employee milestone celebrations for the RSC
- On-call one weekend per month
- May be required to work in the corporate office 2-3 days as needed
YOU’VE GOT THIS?
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field preferred - Great job for new college grad in HR!
- 1 year of human resources experience or a combination of experience and education and internships
- Affinity for HR information systems and data
- Excellent ability to multi-task
- Ability to analyze information, think independently, and drive ideas into action
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communications skills
- High energy with a positive, customer-centric attitude
