Duties

• Greet customers warmly and take their food orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while adhering to food safety standards and sanitation guidelines.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely to assist with food preparation, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Manage cash register operations, process cash and card transactions accurately, and handle cash handling responsibilities with integrity.
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales through effective suggestive selling techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace by following sanitation protocols and ensuring all food safety practices are followed diligently.
• Assist in retail sales transactions when needed, providing excellent customer service during busy periods.

Experience

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants, café environments, or the food industry is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong skills in food preparation, serving, cashiering, and operating POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing register operations smoothly.
• Knowledge of food safety management, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures is essential.
• Experience with operating kitchen equipment and maintaining a clean workspace aligns well with this role’s requirements.
• Excellent customer service skills combined with a positive attitude will help you succeed in engaging with diverse customers during morning/day shifts.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
