General Manager Job Description
The General Manager is responsible for all aspects of the operations and staffing of a Checkers/Ralleys restaurant, including the adherence to all company policies, procedures, programs, and systems. Ensures achievement of restaurant profitability objectives while following all company guidelines. Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and ethical business practices. Provides leadership, direction, training, and development to subordinate managers and crew.

JOB DUTIES:
· Comply with food safety procedures, monitor safe working conditions, and manage food and labor costs
· Work with management team to meet sales goals
· Responsible for achieving goals in key areas such as: food variance, labor variance and controllable profit growth
· Monitor food inventory levels
· Be able to provide fast, accurate and top-notch customer service to every guest who comes into our restaurant
· Drive customer satisfaction, financial performance, and staff satisfaction
· Learn and apply Checkers/Ralleys standard operating procedures including supervisory and administrative duties of interviewing and onboarding processes, Labor Scheduling processes, Inventory maintenance processes, and analyzing restaurant P&L
· Provide and Manage functional guidance including training/development, assignment delegation and instruction to Crew, Sr. Crew, Shift Leaders and Assistant Managers positions
Physical Standards: Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to ten (10) hours in length. Must have the ability to safely lift pots, pans, glassware, boxes, etc. up to 50 pounds in weight. Must be able to read and write to facilitate communication. Must possess finger and hand dexterity for using small tools and equipment. Ability to wear protective hand coverings through entire shift. Ability to work with disinfectant cleaning supplies throughout entire shift. Ability to wear protective face coverings and/or masks through entire shift. Ability to frequently wash hands with disinfecting soap throughout shift.
