Duties
- Lead and motivate the restaurant team to deliver outstanding food service and customer experiences, embodying a culture of hospitality and teamwork.
- Oversee daily restaurant operations including food preparation, cooking, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and monitoring stock levels to minimize waste and optimize costs.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, sales tracking, and financial reconciliation.
- Handle cash management duties accurately, including cash handling procedures and shift reconciliation.
- Supervise staff training and development programs to enhance skills in food handling, customer service, and safety protocols.
- Implement management strategies for shift management, staff scheduling, and ensuring smooth restaurant flow during busy hours.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food quality, and safety in compliance with health regulations.
- Conduct regular staff interviews and performance evaluations to foster a motivated team environment.
- Collaborate with culinary teams on food production processes including catering, banquets, and special events such as weddings or corporate functions.
- Monitor budget adherence and implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability while maintaining service excellence.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within the food industry, particularly in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining settings.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen management practices.
- Strong familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential.
- Demonstrated supervising experience with teams in hospitality or restaurant management roles.
- Background in food safety standards, food handling procedures, and health regulations compliance.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to train & develop staff effectively while fostering a positive team environment.
- Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and cost management within a restaurant setting.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences across diverse dining formats including fine dining or casual venues.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently during shift changes while maintaining attention to detail in all operational aspects.
