Checker Transportation is expanding quickly in Metro Detroit(for this posting specifically Pontiac area), looking for experienced drivers to begin driving immediately. We provide the option to lease one of our vans so no need to own your own vehicle! If you do own your vehicle, that is great as well! Checker is a Detroit-based taxi, limousine, school, and non-emergency medical transportation company.
Checker Cab provides dispatching services to our drivers through our dispatch software on tablets. The drivers own or operate third-party leases of their leased or owned vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Driver Orientation Program
- Option to lease a late-model vehicle from third-party owners
- Option to put your own car to work making money
- Insurance if you lease a vehicle from a third-party owner
- Clients that need transportation 24/7
- The latest technology available to match you to the client
- Available bookings you are free to accept or not
- $65 fee for background check is required!
- Freedom to set your own schedule and work zone in metro Detroit
- Freedom to choose the owner you contract with for a car
- Freedom to bring your own vehicle if you wish to earn even more!
- Many other transportation companies let you receive just a small percentage of the fare. At Checker, all cash and credit/debit fares from individual passengers, whether dispatched or flagged on the street, are yours to keep Checker does not take a percentage at all.
