Job Title: Commercial Lines Account Executive
Location: Cleveland, Ohio | Home based role with circa. 2 days in the office per month
Salary Range: $70,000–$90,000 Benefits
A growing and well-established insurance brokerage is expanding its commercial team and looking for a detail-driven Commercial Lines Account Executive to support producers and drive client success behind the scenes.

The Opportunity You’ll play a key role in managing renewals, coordinating new business submissions, and supporting strategic growth initiatives. Working closely with producers, you’ll help ensure clients receive the most competitive and appropriate coverage solutions.
This is a hybrid position, combining time in a modern office setting near Cleveland with the flexibility to work from home.
What You’ll Be Doing
Commercial Renewals
• Build and manage renewal timelines for producers
• Identify key accounts and flag potential risks (e.g. rate increases, claims, non-renewals)
• Collaborate monthly with producers to review upcoming renewals and resolve challenges
• Recommend coverage enhancements and value-added changes
• Produce quarterly insights on retention, lost business, and remarketing activity
New Business Support
• Coordinate with producers and carriers to gather and submit complete applications
• Analyze and present quotes, outlining strengths and considerations
• Assist in placing business with preferred carriers in line with internal strategy
• Track and report on new business performance, including premium and placement data
Sales & Marketing Support
• Partner with producers on weekly strategy discussions
• Provide market intelligence to support targeted outreach and campaigns
• Help identify industry segments and build marketing plans based on renewal cycles
• Use data and insurer insights to support business development initiatives
What We’re Looking For
• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License
• Strong background in commercial insurance
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Solid organizational and analytical abilities
• Experience with agency management systems (Partner XE preferred)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools like Teams
