Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to serve as clerical support to the Superintendent, Board of Education, and Curriculum Director. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily office operations, including scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently to maintain up-to-date records.
- Assist with administrative duties such as filing, organizing documents, and maintaining office supplies.
- Create and distribute various meeting agendas and minutes.
- Attend school board and committee meetings with the Superintendent to record meeting minutes.
- Serve as Central Office receptionist, providing exceptional customer service.
Skills
- Proficient in computer literacy with a strong command of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in data entry and clerical work.
- Ability to work independently in a timely fashion in order to meet deadlines.
