Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group therapy to patients with various mental health conditions, including cognitive impairment, depression, anxiety, and behavioral disturbances
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-social assessments to identify patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Monitor patients' progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate and detailed records
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and interdisciplinary conferences to stay current with best practices and guidelines
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient-centered care, empathy, and cultural sensitivity
- Currently licensed in New York as a LPC, LMFT, LMHC, or Licensed Psychologist
- Master's or doctoral degree in a relevant field, such as mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology
- Strong clinical experience in geriatric mental health, with a focus on older adults
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
