Center for Human Development, (CHD), will be hosting a hiring event on Thursday, 12/18/2025 from 1pm-3pm. We are looking for candidates to provide quality care and support to those served. Ideal candidates will have had previous experience working with individuals with complex mental illness in addition to compounding medical needs.
We are currently seeking candidates to fill a number of full and part time openings at Heron House, an Enhanced Medical Group Living Environment (EMGLE) program. This new 18-bed facility is located in East Longmeadow, MA.

We currently have the following job openings for this program:
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Direct Care Staff
LPN rate is $38.50/hr. with a $2.00/hr. differential for overnight shifts.
Direct Care rate is: $20.00/hr. with a $2.00/hr. differential for overnight shifts
- One-year experience in a Behavioral Health setting, preferred.
- One-year experience working with the elderly, people with disabilities, behavioral challenges and cognitive disabilities, preferred.
