Summary
Alluvion Health is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our integrated Behavioral Health team. The ideal candidate provides comprehensive mental health care, including psychiatric evaluations, psychotherapy, medication management, and collaboration within a team-based care model. This position plays a vital role in improving the mental well-being of our patients through compassionate, ethical, and evidence-based care.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate, and ethical mental health therapy to patients.
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide medication management.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and integrated care team members to ensure coordinated care.
- Complete timely documentation within the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Adhere to Alluvion Health policies, procedures, and continuous quality improvement objectives.
- Stay current with research and evidence-based best practices.
- Maintain an active DEA registration.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary care team.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer reviews, and other evaluation activities.
- Flexibility to work varied hours as needed.

Education, Experience & Certification
Education:
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a Psychiatric certification required
Experience:
One (1) year of experience in a clinical setting preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
- Active Montana APRN license with prescriptive authority
- Current DEA registration
- Valid Montana driver’s license
Computer Skills:
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access) and ability to learn Alluvion Health software applications
Language Skills
- Fluent in English with the ability to read, interpret, and communicate complex information effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to sit, use hands/fingers, and operate a computer.
- Occasionally required to lift/move up to 40 lbs.
- Must possess visual and auditory acuity for patient care and computer-based work.
- Mobility to move throughout clinic sites and travel between locations as needed.
Working Conditions
- Primarily indoors in a climate-controlled environment.
- OSHA Exposure Category #1: Routine exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
- Standard schedule of 40–45 hours per week; flexibility required for patient and clinic needs.
