Warehouse Associates for Tire Warehouse in New Castle, DE!
Leading supplier of high-quality tires and related products. Our client prides themselves on delivering exceptional service and value to their customers. They are currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associates to join their team.
As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the tire warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving tires off a delivery truck, stack and strap tires together for inventory, as well as maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and Inspect Shipments: Unload tires from delivery trucks, inspect for damage, and verify quantities against shipping documents.
- Inventory Management: Stack and strap tires on a conveyor belt line for inventory.
- Work closely with other warehouse staff and departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Lifting up to 80 lbs. for 8-10 hours.
- Repetitive heavy lifting.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
- Warehouse Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy items (80 lbs), and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with others in a fast-paced environment.
- Safety Mindset: Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and equipment operation.
Job Type: Full-Time Temp-to-Permanent
Schedule: Monday through Friday with Mandatory Saturday's If Needed
Possible Overtime
Pay: $17.00 Per Hour
