Chaz 51 Steakhouse in Venice, FL is looking for one lead line cook to join our team. We are located on 549 US Hwy 41 Bypass N. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and hard-working.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that kitchen activities operate in a timely manner.
- Monitor and record inventory, and if necessary, order new supplies.
- Recruit and train new kitchen employees to meet restaurant and kitchen standards.
- Adhere to and implement sanitation regulations and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Science or relevant field is desired
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and best practices.
- Teamwork-oriented with outstanding leadership abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a very busy, fast-paced environment
